About this deal

And even though I knew this was RH and I know that these books are basically just sex with a small amount of plot… it felt like this book was just a porno someone dreamed up one night and decided to make it into a book and didn’t really care to make it feel realistic… there were zero conversations between any of them about the dynamics of what they were getting themselves into and it all just felt messy, convenient and unrealistic. Really enjoyed this book. A but long, I didn’t feel it had to be that long. There also wasn’t a lot of romance as I really wanted. I just wish there was more cute and fluffy, more focused on the stalker & her life as a celebrity. Book Genre: Adult, Adult Fiction, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Erotica, Fiction, Military Fiction, New Adult, Polyamorous, Polyamory, Reverse Harem, Romance, War On top of that, we don’t get on. They think I’m a demanding diva. I think they’re overdramatic. When a trip to America sends the guys’ protective instincts into overdrive, the sizzling tension between us finally breaks, and I learn my bodyguards’ biggest secret: they want me.

One celebrity diva in trouble. Three overprotective bodyguards determined to keep her safe. As one of the world’s most hated celebrities, I’m used to unwanted attention. But when I wake up one morning to find a mysterious man has broken into my ho... Having three gorgeous men guarding me 24-7 sounds like a dream come true, but it turns out to be a nightmare. They’re always here, watching me. Caring for me. Protecting me. They tell me to ignore them and go about my business, but I can’t even think with them so close. The spark is too intense. This author really knows how to emotionally torment me and then make the characters kiss it all better again. It’s very satisfying. Triple-Duty Bodyguards is a really amazing bodyguard romance novel! It was such a fun read. The one thing I wasn't a super big fan of was the third act conflict — but, thankfully, it was much better executed than the one in Faking with Benefits so I can't really complain 😂 Ay, de verdad, qué cosa más curiosa es este libro.

I knew that when that happened, my life would never be the same again. Never. I’ve never loved a girl so much. Losing her might just break me.” I’m literally in love with these new covers!! I mean, look at them😍 I’m going to binge all of these books! This book just wasn’t enjoyable to me because I spent so much of it being uncomfortable. With the heroine, the guys, the plot, everything. I didn’t connect to anyone or anything.

The author did an amazing job of making these characters multifaceted, complex and very interesting. The emotional growth of each character feels genuine, and definitely had me laughing, crying, sympathizing and giving me all the feels.Triple-Duty Bodyguards: A Military Reverse Harem Romance” is a modern masterpiece, a powerful novel that can be read on its own. This novel is written by Lily Gold. She is a true storyteller, and Triple-Duty Bodyguards is her best book. It’s an epic tale of family, secrets, loss, marriage, betrayal, friendships, laughter, and regrets. Triple-Duty Bodyguards is a heartfelt novel written with compassion and hope, reconciling the past to pave a road to happiness and second chances. The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. Briar has a stalker so she hires 3 ex SAS soldiers to protect her. We get all of their povs but we also get to read the stalker’s pov too which I found to be so original. I’ve never read a book like that.

Their relationship buildup and the chaos going on around them was fantastic and totally entertaining. But once the chaos from her stalker was handled I feel like we didn’t get very much time with them all actually together in their relationship. Alternate cover for ASIN B09311171S One celebrity diva in trouble. Three overprotective bodyguards determined to keep her safe. As one of the world’s most hated celebrities, I’m used to unwanted attention. But when I wake up one morning to find a ... What’s the saying… the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. How about three someones. The characters first meeting then just set the tone for the rest of the novel. Briar was unapologetic in her demands and confidence, while still being human and caring in her emotions. There was such an interesting balance between her “bitchiness” being an act, and it just being a part of her personality. Not to mention, while she does have some moments of reflection and personal growth, her core personality remains throughout the story. Working as a nanny for the world’s grumpiest single dad should have been simple. Except I can’t keep my eyes off him. And he can’t keep his hands off of me.This had a pretty heavy plot, y’all. Wasn’t expecting it after the few novels of Lily Gold’s I’ve read before. This almost read like a romantic suspense in parts. It does go HAM. Be prepared for some OTT scenes but they’re so enthralling you won’t mind at all. You’ll just wanna keep reading what happens next. Not only did it have a cute relationship development between fmc and three gorgeous men, but it had a mystery in it. The plot was interesting and different from her other books. We actually get a few chapters from ‘X’, Briar’s stalker, and it added to the creep factor for sure. The overall romance was amazing though, I loved Briar so much for being sassy and unapologetically honest, a little mean, just handling her fame in general. Again, this Lily Gold book didn’t work for me… I think that she’s at her best when she does lighter, funnier books - like Faking With Benefits or Nanny for the Neighbors. But maybe it’s just that’s what I prefer from her so… maybe give this one a shot if you want to try a contemporary reverse harem.

I am into reading kink and love a bit of powerplay, but I am even more into balanced and consensual relationships when powerplay is entered into after mutual respect has been established. The fact that Briar did not take any shit from the MMCs and demanded respect from them just made me so happy. Spoilers ahead. If you want a fun bodyguard/reserve harem romance this book is definitely worth the read. Meanwhile, my stalker’s behaviour is becoming more and more alarming. He’s photographing me through windows and following me in the shadows. With the premiere for my next movie coming up, will my three bodyguards be able to keep me safe from his clutches? Or will my terrifying pursuer finally get his deadly way?Two childhood friends. Two broken hearts. One impromptu road trip to get away from everything. That’s all this was supposed to be. Afterall, I’ve been living in the friend zone for years now. Ahhh, I absolutely loved this one, Lily Golds books are some of my favourites and always seem to get a 5 Star rating from me. After reading Twisted Games earlier this year, I have been wanting to find a bodyguard romance that makes my heart beat as much as it did when I read it. Triple Duty Bodyguards was that and loads more. I loved the contrast between all the boy’s personalities, and how between them, Briar would always be satisfied emotionally, mentally, and well you know DEFINITELY PHYSICALLY. Plus I loved the bit of action this one had, as well as the use of PTSD, it was just shown so beautifully in this book. I loved the representation in this book that showed that not all girls can finish from penetration. It’s one of my pet peeves and something I can never find in books. Definitely one of my favourite books of the year, and I can’t wait to read the rest of Lily Golds Reverse Harems' books. I will say one thing I LOVE about Lily Gold is how she continues the story for a few chapters after the plot. Nothing worse then having just read the plot for it to literally finish right after or a chapter later… plus the epilogues are always great 👏🏼
