The mids have just a touch of hollowness to them, but nowhere near the level I was honestly expecting. As it turns into a deep dip in the mid-mid, lead instruments and dialogue are pushed to the back of the mix.

There are only two controls but they have good feedback, which is to be expected for a volume wheel and mic mute. The original HyperX Cloud is still probably my number one choice thanks in no small part to the fact it’s way more comfortable. They look somewhat similar to their predecessor, the Astro A10, with squarish ear cups and the manufacturer's logo on the headband.
