First off, the spin that I was able to generate with the conforming (TT) grooves was very impressive for me.The shaft and grip are upgraded to a Dynamic Gold 120 and Lamkin Crossline 360 a premium combination that matches ideally with the feel and swing characteristics of the head. Not my grind of choice for a 58, but I had no problem opening it up or closing it down on any lie because of the good heel relief.

Indi Golf broke onto the wedge scene with their Stingray wedge, a non-conforming but fun maximizing club that spins the ball like crazy. Once my playing partner got it in my head to just toss the ball at the hole, I had a lot more success. In one way of thinking, it’s not the easiest for me to tell if I hit it right on the button, or off towards the toe (my miss). The stingray is made with Carbon steel and immediately I can tell the feel is really good and solid from the shots I hit on the range.My current wedges are all head heavy, the stingray tt almost feels like there's heft in the head all the way to the hands.
