I carry mine everwhere it is my companion, because of the quality of paper and the sturdy case it can be used for painting too and I tend to collage in it. I sometimes take my sketchbooks to the beach to make notes or drawings so the pocket size has become my favourite.I sometimes find myself hunched over the sketchbook with a tiny brush or pencil, my nose inches away from the paper focused on a tiny area.
