I have to admit, when Tessa’s books started blowing up on TikTok, I wasn’t drawn to them at the start—only because I tended to drift toward other genres more at the time. in sweet, sunny Cape Cod - just me and my beloved brother - but discovering a corpse in our rental house really throws a wrench into our tanning schedule. The pacing of the book was okay, although it is more fast paced, I definitely wouldn´t have minded if the book was a couple pages longer. I loved the main characters, the fast-paced plot, the smut, the range of suspects, the writing was objectively TB's best compared to her other romcoms and older work, I feel like TB has worked hard over the years to establish herself as a great and reliable romcom author.

So what i was imagining is him just stopping mid conversation and kneeling before her to lick her stomach. You make me feel safe and protected…But at the same time, you make me feel like I can protect myself.There are a tons of things I could list that made this (the bit I've read, anyway) so unenjoyable, but I think the biggest chunks of guilt belong to the mystery plot (pretend I just used the most gargantuan air quotes you've ever seen, here) and the main characters. I really love Murder mysteries, I love working them out, I think my issue with this read was there wasn't much to the plot tbh, and most of the time the main characters seemed to be having sex at the most like awkward moments. New York Times bestselling author Tessa Bailey can solve all problems except for her own, so she focuses those efforts on stubborn, fictional blue-collar men and loyal, lovable heroines.

When Taylor finds Myles, not only do sparks fly but so do her gut instincts that there is more to this case and the two inevitably end up working together (much to Myles's dismay) whilst he desperately tries to stay out of Taylor's red hook up panties. my killer vacation throws us headfirst into a dead body being discovered in a cape cod holiday rental by taylor and jude bassey, siblings on a much needed vacation.

Tessa Bailey has always had an eminently readable style, and that's part of the charm of her writing. I’m lusting after this stranger in the heart of Middle Class Vacationville wondering what her nipples would look like in the sunshine, all licked up in my spit.

I love to see when people have to work for it; though I find some of them fitting or refinedly done in her past works. Don’t think about looking her in the eye when I come and knowing it serves a purpose beyond physical pleasure.I think Myles might just be the horniest character I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering in a book, and that’s saying something. Myles is tall and grumpy, but so sweet on the inside; Taylor is short and cute - so cute -, but she's also smoking hot and she wants a Man. Also why, if all he thinks about how he shouldn't fuck her and then he just goes and licks her stomach? But as my opener to Tessa Bailey’s storyworlds, My Killer Vacation was *chef’s kiss*—it had me laughing and blushing at the down-to-earth, sultry story of Taylor and Myles that is one hundred per-cent a killer summer read. In other words, the insatiable hunger and protectiveness she is waking up in me is a threat to my peace of mind.
